But you might think how can I give you pro blogging tips if I am not a very popular blogger.

Well, I am not a very popular blogger earning millions of dollars. But I have been blogging for quite a long time and I have learnt a lot from my experiences and I am still learning more and more. So I am giving you the tips which I have learnt through my experiences.

You might be thinking what do I mean by this and how it will help you in blogging. It might seem to be a very common rule that everyone knows. But it is something not followed by most of the bloggers.

Most of the bloggers start with advanced techniques without even knowing the basics. This creates a huge problem for them. Let me tell you about this with my own example.

When I started blogging, I did not focus on the content on my blog, but I started finding ways to create backlinks. I commented on other blogs and even generated backlinks with backlink generator tools online. But this did not hep me at all, as when Google crawled my blog, it found poor quality content. So it did not rank my blog, which is quite reasonable.

So I advise you to learn the basics first and then move forward step by step. It will help you a lot in your blog's growth and rankings. Moving forward step by step will make you fully understand the whole concept of blogging.

It is like any game with many levels. If you start from Level 1 and then go to Level 10 by clearing all the levels in between, you will surely complete the Level 10 quite faster than if you directly play the Level 10.

Similarly in blogging, if you start from Level 1 (Basics) and then move on step by step to Level 10 (Advanced), then you are likely to win the game (Become a Pro Blogger) faster.

You can learn blogging step by step with the help of a blogging ebook or with the help of blogging courses on YouTube. By this way, you can go so far in blogging that even you cannot imagine and your blog will grow very fast.

Instead, if you start from the advanced, you will not get any benefit and also, you'll end up wasting your time.

You must be knowing how important SEO is in blogging. If you have just started blogging, your blog posts might not be ranking even after creating lots of backlinks, and using your targeted keyword many times in your blog post.

Now you must understand that SEO is not about just backlinks or just keyword stuffing. Instead, SEO is all about making Google and (other search engines) believe that a blog or blog post deserves to rank on its first page on a particular keyword. SEO involves methods to make your blog better in the eyes of Google (and other search engines).

So before applying an SEO technique, think about it and think how it will make search engines believe that your blog deserves to be ranked.

For example, backlinks help in SEO as search engines believe that a blog or blog post with a lot backlinks is good, because people have linked to it and nobody would link a bad article or blog. This is why backlinks are quite important for rankings.

But backinks are not the only indicator by which search engines analyze a blog post. Instead, there are hundreds of factors used by search engines to determine the quality of a blog or blog post. Opimizing a blog according to these factors makes up what is called SEO.

Search engines do not disclose the factors which affect the rankings. These are to be analyzed by experimenting. Some of the factors which are analyzed by bloggers are dwell time (average time duration for which a visitor remains on your blog) and social shares.

You cannot rank #1 on competitive keywords just by building backlinks, using keywords properly and increasing social shares, because this is what your competitors are also doing. These are important, very very important, but you also have to do something extraordinary to become an expert in SEO.

If you are able to collect the emails of your viewers, you can send them emails about your latest blog posts. This will generate trust of your viewers towards your blog as well as it will increase your blog's traffic.

As your viewers will trust your blog, they are more likely to buy your recommended affiliate products. By this way, you can make a huge affiliate income.

Also, when you have a decent email list, you don't need to entirely depend on search engines for traffic for your blog.

There are many examples of people who have made millions of dollars with their email list, such as Neil Patel, who has hundreds of thousands of people in his email list.

You should also do the same, as it will help your blog in many ways. It will get your blog more comments in every blog post, which is a positive signal for your blog in terms of SEO. This will rank your blog posts faster.

A community on your blog will generate trust for your blog among search engines and it will be considered a genuine blog. Also, your blog posts will get more social shares, which will also help you in SEO.

So building a community on your blog will help a lot in your blog's traffic and growth. So in today's time, you must build a community on your blog.

Content is the King

This may seem to be as simple as that. But have you ever thought why content is so important in blogging and why one cannot succeed in blogging without great content. What if someone ranks a post with useless content by using SEO techniques? Can he succeed in blogging?

You must understand that SEO is based on the content and quality of a blog or blog post. All the factors of SEO are based on the content such as backlinks and dwell time.

Even if someone builds backlinks by any means and is able to rank a blog post on Google, the blog post will soon be removed from Google's rankings if the content is not good enough. This is because Google can determine the quality of content of a blog post through a lot of factors. If Google finds someone uses black hat SEO techniques, it can penalize the site and can remove its rankings. So without great content, one cannot succeed in blogging, no matter how much SEO one knows.

Note that SEO is just a way to promote nice content and making the great content reach people who want it. This statement is very true in blogging -

SEO is only a part of blogging, not the heart of blogging.

Hence, great and useful content is a must for every blog to grow and succeed. A blog without great content is like a wall without brick.
